Recycling sign

Informs about the material from which the packaging was made. In the case of cardboard boxes, this is paper. Therefore, the boxes are sorted into the blue paper recycling bin.

FSC^® Certificate

Certifies the origin of the wood used to produce the packaging. The wood was harvested in accordance with the principles of sustainable management.

Quality is the basis for success. That is why we only supply the market with cardboard boxes made of high-quality corrugated cardboard.

Specifications of our boxes

We primarily produce cardboard from three-layer or five-layer corrugated cardboard. For heavier or sensitive products and challenging transport, we recommend using boxes made of five-layer corrugated cardboard.

In most cases, the outer covering layer of our five-layer corrugated boxes is made of high-quality kraftliner paper. It contains at least 80% pulp, i.e., intact wood fibres.

Boxes from the Czech Republic

We are the Czech company Servisbal Obaly s.r.o. We produce packaging directly at our company headquarters in Dobruška by the Orlické hory mountains.

We buy corrugated cardboard for the production of boxes from reliable suppliers in the Czech Republic. If we buy cardboard from suppliers, they are again largely Czech entities.

We test the boxes in our testing facility

We regularly check the quality of corrugated cardboard and the structure of newly designed packaging in our own packaging testing facility.

Drop tests

What happens if a parcel repeatedly falls from a height of 1.2 m? We can answer similar questions by testing with a free fall drop test machine that subjects the packaging to repeated drops under identical conditions.

With the help of sensors and accelerometers, we can then accurately determine how well the box will hold up.

Klimatické testy

How does the corrugated cardboard used withstand 98% humidity in the long term? We can answer this question thanks to a climate chamber that can simulate climatic influences such as temperature and humidity over the long term.

Datalogger

Can wine bottles in boxes survive transportation via the Czech Post service? A test using a datalogger will tell us that. This is a smart device that is sent in the package together with the transported products and records all the influences that the shipment faces.

The most common are shocks and vibrations during transportation. After the transportation is completed, the datalogger can be used to read whether the defined values have not exceeded the limit at which the goods are at risk of damage.

Our boxes are eco-friendly

Our cardboard boxes are made from corrugated cardboard, which is a renewable material.

The corrugated cardboard from our boxes is easily recycled. It can go through up to 9 recycling cycles.

The boxes are FSC^® certified

Our standard FEFCO 0201 boxes are FSC^® certified. The same applies to most of the cardboard from suppliers that we distribute to the market.

Why it is important:

This certification addresses environmentally friendly forest management.

This means that the trees, which are the primary raw material for paper production, have been legally harvested and that forest management at the site of harvesting is carried out according to firmly established ecological rules (replanting, planting of suitable tree species, etc.)

We source the corrugated cardboard used to make our boxes from suppliers who are also FSC^® certified.

And they source certified paper, which is needed for the production of corrugated cardboard. In this way, the entire production chain is covered, ensuring that everything is managed in an environmentally sustainable manner.
